Motorcycle: Indian Scout 600 solo 1926

The Indian Motocycle Company - founded in 1901 in Springfield / Massachusetts was one of the first and most important motorcycle manufacturers in the USA.

The company of the two founders George Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom was  primarily known for motorcycles with large-volume two-cylinder V-engines and chassis, which offered a low and comfortable seating position.

The Indian motorcycles were of course not only successful because of the highly comfortable seating position: also the reliable robustness and the high possible range due to a tank with large capacity contributed to their great popularity.

Our Indian Scout 600 has all the components that an American Big Twin has to offer:

V two-cylinder engine with side valves, 600cc displacement, double tube frame, leaf spring fork and - not insignificant for comfortable driving - footboards, a sweeping handlebar and a wide leather saddle.

A dream of a motorcycle!
